AFC Bournemouth date their founding to 1899, with Bournemouth their recorded home. Their pre-Premier League honours include the Third Division championship of 1986/87. The detailed record in this archive begins in 1992/93, with the club entering its Premier League coverage much later.
Eddie Howe's stored managerial spell began in October 2012, before the club's first Premier League campaign. Vitality Stadium was their home throughout the seasons held here, including the opening campaign that ended in 16th place.
The first campaign returned 42 points, and the following season improved on that total as well as the league placing. The goal difference remained negative, however, despite the move into the upper half. Their subsequent points totals stayed above the opening return before the relegation season brought a lower figure.
The next season brought a top-half finish, with Bournemouth reaching 9th place. A 6–1 home victory over Hull City belongs to that campaign and remains their widest league win in the archive. The subsequent finishes were lower, though both campaigns ended clear of the relegation places: 12th came before 14th.
That first spell ended with relegation in 2019/20. Howe's recorded tenure closed the following August, after the campaign had returned 34 points.
Scott Parker was in charge when Premier League football returned, but his tenure ended in August 2022. Gary O'Neil's stored spells cover the remainder of that season, which finished with Bournemouth in 15th place.
Andoni Iraola arrived the following July and oversaw a rise to 12th. The subsequent campaign ended in the top half, with a positive goal difference rather than the negative balances of their earlier Premier League seasons. They finished 9th, then improved again. An unbeaten sequence running from January to May covered 18 league matches during Iraola's final campaign. The latest completed season, 2025/26, ended in 6th place.
