Highbury under Graham and Wenger

George Graham was in charge at the beginning of the archive, with the opening league campaign ending in 10th place. His tenure ended in February 1995, during the season that brought their lowest finish here. Bruce Rioch followed before Arsène Wenger's appointment in October 1996.

Wenger's first league championship came in 1997/98. The next title followed in 2001/02, before the unbeaten champions finished with 90 points in a later campaign. That latter total remains their highest here. The unbeaten league sequence extended across 49 matches before ending the following autumn.

Emirates years and a change in the dugout

Highbury's stored ground history ends in May 2006, with Emirates Stadium listed from that July. League finishes remained inside the top four through 2015/16, when the club were runners-up. The final Highbury campaign ended with Arsenal in 4th place, before the first season at the new stadium returned the same position. Points totals subsequently varied even while the club remained inside that group: a later 3rd-place campaign produced 83 points.

Wenger left after the later 6th-place campaign.

Unai Emery's tenure then ran until November 2019. Freddie Ljungberg's short spell preceded Mikel Arteta's appointment the following month.

Arteta's runners-up become champions

The early Arteta seasons ended outside the top four before a return to the title's upper places. Consecutive runner-up finishes followed, with the middle campaign producing the club's best goal difference in the archive. The final runner-up campaign returned fewer points than either of the preceding seasons, before the subsequent championship raised that total again. Arsenal took 85 points in the title campaign. The league title returned in 2025/26, their latest completed season.
