Founded in 1903, Bradford City have an earlier honours record that includes the FA Cup. That cup victory came in 1910/11, followed much later by a Third Division championship. The divisional title was won in 1984/85. This archive starts its detailed league record at 1992/93; Bradford's Premier League involvement begins later.
Valley Parade was their home across both Premier League campaigns in the archive. The first ended with Bradford outside the relegation places, in 17th. That campaign included their biggest league victory here, a 3–0 home win against Wimbledon.
Their longest winning sequence came between January and February. A later unbeaten run extended across 3 matches in April, continuing to the end of that month without matching the earlier sequence of successive victories. Across the season, the points return was sufficient for survival despite a negative goal difference.
The next season brought a longer sequence without a victory, beginning in August and continuing into November. It lasted 13 league matches, the club's longest winless run in these covered seasons. Their heaviest recorded defeat also belongs to this campaign: a 0–6 away loss at Manchester United.
The second campaign returned 26 points, below the opening season's total. Its final goal difference was more negative as well, so neither of those season totals matched the figures from the survival campaign.
The league finish was lower than in the opening season, and the points total fell as well. Across the complete Premier League spell, home victories were more frequent than away wins, with Valley Parade supplying the larger share of both wins and draws.
Bradford finished with a goal difference of minus 40 in the relegation campaign. Their Premier League record stops there, with no later return among the seasons held. The latest covered season, 2000/01, ended at the bottom of the table.
Coverage Premier League matches only, in the seasons the archive publishes; cups and European matches are not included. Team sheets (line-ups, minutes, cards) are held for 2025/26 only. History and all-time records refer to this archive's coverage, not the club's entire existence. Manager and ground histories may have gaps; no missing spells are inferred.
