Leeds United are based in Leeds and were founded in 1919. Their pre-Premier League honours include the FA Cup and League Cup, alongside First Division championships. The stored earlier record also contains Inter-Cities Fairs Cup wins. Detailed results in this archive start at 1992/93.
Elland Road is the recorded home throughout Leeds' seasons here. The club placed 17th in its opening Premier League season. It included their widest league win in the archive, a 5–0 home victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
A rise to 5th followed, then another season in the same position with a higher points return. The latter campaign's 73 points remain their best total here. Lower-half finishes interrupted that sequence before Leeds returned to the upper places at the end of the decade.
The club reached 3rd in 1999/00, their highest Premier League placing in the archive. The points return in that highest-placing campaign was below the earlier season record, despite the better league position. Leeds had also finished with a larger positive goal difference in the preceding campaign, so the better placing did not coincide with every highest season total. The following season remained in the top four before a further lower placing, although both campaigns still ended in the upper half.
A later decline brought a 15th-place finish and then relegation. Their final campaign of that first spell produced a lower points total and more negative goal difference than the preceding season. Leeds finished 19th before the long absence from Premier League coverage.
A Championship title preceded the first return, which ended in the top half. Later seasons moved towards the bottom, with Jesse Marsch followed by Javi Gracia and Sam Allardyce during that period. Relegation ended the spell.
Daniel Farke was appointed afterwards and oversaw a later Championship title. His next Premier League campaign finished outside the relegation places. In their latest completed season, 2025/26, Leeds placed 14th.
Coverage Premier League matches only, in the seasons the archive publishes; cups and European matches are not included. Team sheets (line-ups, minutes, cards) are held for 2025/26 only. Aggregate match totals include the in-progress season to the latest published result; finishes and titles count completed seasons only. History and all-time records refer to this archive's coverage, not the club's entire existence. Manager and ground histories may have gaps; no missing spells are inferred.
