Queens Park Rangers are based in London, with their foundation recorded in 1882. The League Cup was won in 1966/67, alongside earlier divisional championships. Southern League titles are also present in the earlier stored honours record. The archive's detailed results begin with 1992/93.
Loftus Road Stadium was QPR's home throughout the seasons covered. QPR placed 5th in the inaugural Premier League campaign, the club's highest finish in the archive. A spring unbeaten sequence extended from April into May, lasting 7 league matches.
That opening league season returned 63 points, still their highest total here. The goal difference was also their best in a completed season held here, with the later top-half campaigns returning smaller positive balances. QPR finished lower in the following league campaign, despite containing QPR's widest recorded victory. That result was a 4–0 win away to West Ham United.
The next season improved the placing slightly while matching the preceding points total. Relegation followed a year later, after both the league position and points return fell. That ended the club's first Premier League spell in this coverage.
A Championship win preceded the much later Premier League return. The opening campaign ended outside the relegation places, with QPR finishing 17th. Its final points total was below the return in every completed season of the earlier spell, though the league placing was higher than in the previous relegation campaign.
A winless run began at the end of that return season and continued into December, spanning 17 league matches. The following campaign ended at the bottom of the table, with another relegation.
