Second for non-penalty goals

Antoine Semenyo scored 16 non-penalty league goals in 2025/26, 2nd in the league, while playing for 2 clubs. AFC Bournemouth had 10 of his goals and Manchester City 7. Together they earned 13 points, by changing the result of 9 matches.

Two clubs, two roles

The move changed his place in the team more than his output. At Bournemouth his goals were 17.2 per cent of the team's 58; at City they were 9.1 per cent of 77. He ranked 2nd for goals at both clubs, yet 9th for minutes at Bournemouth and 14th at City. City used 27 players in the league, which may explain some of that drop.

The top six

His record against the top six was thinner: 4 goals in 10 appearances, with 2 wins, 2 draws and 6 defeats for his side. Over the whole season his 188 minutes per goal ranked 16th among regular scorers with 900 minutes or more. Before Bournemouth signed him in 2023 he played 112 matches for Bristol City, with loans at Bath City, Newport County and Sunderland along the way.
