A goal every 129 minutes

Eli Junior Kroupi's 129 minutes per goal ranked 2nd in the 2025/26 Premier League, measured against the 239 players who played 900 minutes or more and scored. He managed it partly from the bench: 12 of his 33 league appearances for AFC Bournemouth were as a substitute. His 1,682 minutes were only the 11th most at the club.

Goals that counted

No Bournemouth player scored more than his 13, and those goals turned the result in 8 matches, worth 10 points. The club finished 6th, with 22.4 per cent of its league goals coming from him. Leave out his 2 penalties and he has 11, the 8th highest non-penalty total in the league.

Early, and against the best

Of the 13, 8 arrived in the first half, which may say something about how he was used, since starts give a player first-half minutes and substitute appearances do not. He scored against the strongest sides as well, with 5 in 10 appearances against the rest of the top six; Bournemouth won 2, drew 4 and lost 4 of those matches.
